Just bought '93 325is HELP!!!!

About a week ago I bought a 325is

It didnt come with a manual.

And the gas gauge does not work. Is this simply a fuse??or switch or something easy like that?? If no what could it be?

Also if it is just a fuse or switch, could someone tell me which one it would be???

Ha :lol. I have a 92 325is with the same problem. I checked the current by the gas tank under the seats. It says that one side is full. The other side has half a tank. I have replaced my gauge cluster twice and it's still not functioning right. I read the Bentley and it said that if the sensors aren't reading the same amount it could be a fuel consumption pump. PM me and we can possibly figure this out together.
