OBC relocation question (Not retrofit)

Has anyone relocated their 18 button OBC to the original stereo position, which will then allow a double din install under the climate control.

If so, will the wires reach?

theres very minimal room for a double din...the hvac is right behind the climate control you may have to cut through it which is a big pain in the ass believe me....what are you planning on putting there

in that order

its not impossible but your hvac is so close on the bottom that there is no way to install a double din without cutting into your ac...and the condensor is right behind it also..... you have no idea of the difficulty involved with doing this

So what you are saying is the only way to fit anything double din is move the climate control and fit it in there?

no im saying the only way to fit a double din in is to cut into your hvac...this is going to affect your air conditioning, unless you patch the hole after, which is hard because you cant see it but the hvac has different chambers which circulate air to different locations. im just saying its a big project and it is not for a noob with little fabrication skills...im not saying that your a noob because i dont even know you but this is just harder than it seems

The ones I have seen must be double din screen only then.
