Anyone got the e-boost 2 to fit in a 52mm (1 1/16) gauge pod? I know the eboost is 60mm but can you dremel it out or something? I already have the 2" gauge pods. Do I need to mount it somewhere else?

see id like to see a pic of this because when i looked at my 52mm autometer pos and held up the eBoost 2 to it the outside diameter was much alrger then the diameter of the outside of the gauge pod.

I'll go take a pic of mine. You're right, it really doesn't look like it will fit, but once the hole is enlarged a bit the entire pod will widen as you push it in.:ky:D

HAHA, that's funny, a year ago I'm on the phone with him saying "George, it's not just the hole, it's the entire pod, it's too small, it's not going to fit! He said, "just widen the hole it fits fine". I was coninced it wasn't going to fit and sure enough it fit fine.
What I did was trace as best I could the back of the eboost guage onto the front of the pod and dremeled it out very slowly a little at a time to keep the line smooth. Just be careful, the dremel wheel will go throught that thin plastic extremely fast. Good Luck.
