Lets say I found a set of style 5's with brand new rubber on them for sale; how much should i offer for them? Mine are dinged up and two of em are a little bent. And i need new rubber anyways.

Depending on condition it could be between 500 and 1200. I'd offer 800 and work from there....

He has them listed for $1300, the condition is near perfect, and the tires have only 400 miles on them. I offered a lowball of $500 and he came back with a rock-bottom of $1000.

I'd buy em for 500 just to have spares even if they didn't have new tires...

That's quite the lowball offer...

Style 5's are somewhat of a hot commodity at the current moment. $500 is going to get you a pretty crappy set....

Hey, it's a free market. I don't intend to be a dik, but supply and demand right... they're only worth what somebody will pay for them...

pm checked and replied. I actually only need one "straight" wheel.

Anyone have strong feelings against getting wheels straightened? I can replace one bent wheel with my spare and then straighten the other one, or buy rdpower's old spare...

Style 5's are in pretty high demand.

I paid 650 for my set with peeling clear coat, some light curb rash, and a little oxidation on them. And that is without tires which is a fair price.

You said the condition is "near perfect" so I think they are worth 900-1000.
