View Full Version : Do you turn around to admire at your car?

Ok time to fess up.

After you go some place and park your car do you find that
you turn around and admire your car looks once or twice
while you are walking away?

I find I do automatically without thinking about it.
I sometimes turn around with my other cars to make the sure the lights are
off or something but with with my 325i I find myself thinking
to myself, "What a great looking car!"

I have to admit though while I had grey sideskirts I would
turn around and think, "I've got to get rid of those ugly
grey sideskirts."

Guilty as charged. :D

I recently drove my 323 to Michigan, about 1200 miles, and also found myself checking out the car in reflections off other vehicles. I almost drove off the road looking at my car reflected in the shiney chrome rims of a 4x4 in South Carolina.

every time I leave it; even though right now the driver's side is screwed up still because some f*cking woman ran into me, I still look at it all the time and admire it's beauty; and I look on the dents with compassion and sorrow.

everytime i get out of the car i turn around and look at it. sometimes i walk back to make sure everything is alright, doors are locked, tires look good etc. i often peep out of my window, too, to catch a glimpse of it like its a hot chick (which it basically is).

I've had this car for years and just can't get tired of watching it...
So much people notice... I have even left the resturant to move it to a spot I can see it while eating....lolol, I would have to tell the wife I forgot something in it... but she knows....lolol

I have a 92 325IS...if it was a E36 M3!!!!!!!! I would certainly have to be committed for reasons of insanity.... I really don't think M3 drivers really understand what they have.

I did until people started hitting my car. They're trying to beat it down to a little piece of scrap metal.

I always admire my car after I get out. I also care detailing spray and a microfiber cloth in the trunk for when I stop and have time to kill. My car is NEVER dirty.

Hmmmmm....... Yes!! Sad but true.

I still really like the body shape of the my E36. I often see newer models and most just don't do it for me - shape wise at least.

I'm a strange one when it comes to my car. I stop, turn around stare in awe of it sexiness, and sometimes if I'm feeling particularly emotional, I whip out my camera phone and snap a quick picture.

The other day, a girl was looking through my phone, "why do you have so many pictures of your car?" which goes to show how often I do it. If only she saw all the photos on the computer :(

Guilty as charged. My wife thinks I have a problem, but she just doesn't understand....
+1 on the shop windows too. Also if I'm in a tunnel or driving beside a solid median barrier, I wind down the window and gun it just to hear her scream a bit.

I think the E36 is the sexiest 3 series produced IMO. The later models just don't do it for me.

I used to love the way my car looked before. Now the I have the ACS wheels refinished I think WOW that is one nice looking car. I love th way it looks. I also check the car out while i am driving down the road with the reflection from another car or building.

I always look at the car at lest once before I leave her in a parking lot, while i am inside all that is on my mind is if my car is ok.

I do get a break during the week because it is under a cover and i don't get to see it till the weekend.

I'd have to agree with ya on that. e30 and e36 are classic to me.

And count me as guilty too. I love looking from the 3/4 view from the rear toward the front especially when I'm running maximum front camber. :love1

I really like the e36 M3 4-door. That's just sexy...:boink
