Matt ..it says he has 5 ..in the E-Bay..ad...:lol:lol

Really Osh? you invested $10,000 just in blowers....You couldn't invest in one blower, unless you were paid up front for it......:(

It says "payment required immediately"...of course..he needs your $$$..

That ad is fraudulent...you will NEVER see your products...

He recently told me he has to pay RETAIL for blowers from Vortech, because he lost the right to pay WHOLESALE (Hmm..I wonder why?)
So he has to pay $2000 for the the blower, and will sell the kit for $3495?

He is full of crap...

A ploy to bring in some fast cash, and take some unsuspecting consumers to the cleaners...

Stay far away from any ad on E-bay from DMELA...that is Osh..

Simple..He will take your $$$..that day..
And tell you he has to order the blower..
Because I know for fact he does NOT stock blowers..He cannot afford to..
He never even has a dang fuel injector in stock anymore..

Fast forward...say 6 weeks...

He will tell you Vortech has Back Ordered the blower to him...
or..
Your blower came in damaged..
or..
The truck your blower was on was Hijacked by terrorists
or..
Who are you? you didn't order a blower kit from me
or..
Osh is out of town on vacation until Februrary
Or..
You get the idea...;)

I have given him more $$ than anybody on BF's...so I speak from experience...

oh and for someone who wants to go SC, the c38 kit does sound nice like a nice option out there but the rms/vortech setups have been pushing well over 400whp -just like your setup- I don't know of any c38 setups pushing those kind of numbers :az

How about if u pay through paypal, if U don`t get it with in a month, just do a claim and get your money back!

Then he ships it through paypal, so your claim that you filed holds no water, because according to him, and paypal, the merchandise was sent.

However when you open up your box, your in for a big surprise because its 1/2 of what you ordered, or used, or broken...

You then go ape shit and call up paypal, email them multiple times, spend weeks trying to change your claim.

Only to have them side with the seller, because technically it was shipped.

And you can't change claims on paypal, nor can you make a subsequent claim that the goods you received were damaged or missing after you have made your first claim based on the item never being shipped.

If I were you I would listen to marco.

wow ... looks like i missed alot. i haven't been on bfc for awhile due to surgery ... but then i get back on and see this. Marco ??? i thought you were " working with Osh/RMS" in addition to AA. or at least facilitating getting aftercoolers and kits and such. What happened????? Do you still deal with RMS at all???? Can you get their stuff???? sounds like something changed. You were the ONLY REASON so many of us would even consider ANYTHING from RMS. Seems like that is DEAD.

I was thinking about getting an aftercooler ... is that doable through you anymore???? PM me if you prefer.

SiGmA
09-10-2007, 01:29 AM
Use a VISA, you'll be able to get the money back from PayPal even ;) PayPal ALWAYS sides with the buyer, if you use VISA to refund it from PayPal. I filed a PayPal claim over $300, and didn't see the money for a month. I called VISA, explained the situation, and had the money back in my account in about 12 hours, and then PayPal decided that maybe I did in fact deserve the money back, so they processed some sort of refund too. So, moral of the story, only buy from RMS with a VISA.

rundatrack
09-10-2007, 01:36 AM
If you have to think about fraud before buying something....dont buy...

Savings isn't worth the risk to me at all...

The visa and paypal combo would be the best bet if ya winning to roll the dice with a dirt bag seller...

SiGmA
09-10-2007, 01:53 AM
Yeah, I would not really ever buy something if I thought I would be ripped off, unless I had protection lined up already (Visa).

325icintn
09-10-2007, 09:13 AM
$3400 RMS + $4500 AA or VF kit SC = TT stage 2 or TRM with installation. So if you're willing to throw away money on a con, then you might as well go turbo. The math never lies.

Dear actionjackson1213,

If you have any concerns, you may pay by paypal or credit card and we will ship the kit within 48 hours. If we do not live up to our promise to deliver on time you may file a dispute. You have heard quite wrong sir as we have a 100% feed back rating for over one year now. We do not ship anything without payment!!! I hope we can do business.

Hi Marco

Chris here

I know you and my uncle had it out, but it's not fair to trash him with so many false claims. I know you are upset and that's not my business but I do know some of what you are saying is not true. First of all we are in production. We have 15 or so coolers on the fab bench and 5 blowers going out this week from eBay kit sales. How do I know? I'm looking right at them. We also have sold quite a bit of product on our ebay store. And by the way, the store has been up since march of this year and we have a 100% feedback rating.

As far as us purchasing the vortech blowers, retail is quite an exageration. There was a price increase so Osh raised your prices from very very cheap to very cheap. If you don't believe me call Vortech. I think our relationship with Vortech is documented quite well. Also, how in the world could we sell our product so cheap if we where paying Vortech retail for the blowers? We would be losing money on every sale. YOU know Osh doesn't pay attention to what goes on on the forums but I will be keeping an eye on this thread. By the way, Beau says he is very sorry for forgetting the intake tube on your last order. I think that's what you are so upset about.

Nah...poor guy probably gets paid like $8 an hour by Osh...or Osh is doing one of those, "If I pay you under the table, you won't pay taxes and actually net more money!" scheme so that after a month of welding Osh just doesn't pay him like a guy did to me when I was 15. You and UNCLE are delusional..
Please do not make me smear mud..because I can bury Osh and RMS in 2 paragraphs or LESS.....

Beau is delusional also...Forgot a thermo tube only?
How about
1) a leaking and damaged Front mount heat exchanger..junk
2) a damaged aftercooler tank with a crushed BPV nipple and a crack in it..
3) No fill plug on afterrcooler
4) no thermo tube
5) no silicone sleeves
6) no bracket for the pump
7) no mounting screws
8) no BPV hose
9) 4 # 12 clamps ? really thats all I get? used to get ~12 -16...

All in ONE K-I-T..is that a Kit?
Need I go on?

And that is what I waited 6 weeks for?

Retail is an exxageration on blowers? HHHM..Osh told ME he USED to pay $1350 for a blower...now he pays over $500 more for them...so he had to raise the kit price ..at least $500..that would be hhhmm..$~$1850 or more..that is pretty close to retail to me..UNLESS....Osh might have lied to me AGAIN.....could that be possible? ahhh YES....

C'mon dude..go away...
If I get started..you know I can bury him...stop while you are ahead...

Thanks Marc1119 for your experience with this company.
I was about to buy one of these RMS kits for my DD, and now I'm 100% not going to. Do they really have a bad rep. or is it just you?

If one person had this much trouble getting a thrown together kit, then
that's proof enough for me to not buy.

paul e

While new potential customers now have alternative options to turn to, eg, two twinscrews are available from different companies, when it comes to Vortechs, RMS was the ONLY reasonable option, for one main reason: AFTERCOOLER!!!

So, new users can go elsewhere if supercharging is their destiny.. But what about the rather large and vocal established RMS user base? Support needs just dont die simply because the owner has turned off to his customers. We really have no choice if an rms sourced part goes in the crapper but to take up residence up his butt until he decides to get us what we need. :mad

However, this is a free market economy, and I suspect, while I myself may feel the need to be great, if it was a Real necessity, ie, if the Market demanded, then someone else would be all too happy to jump in and fill the aftercooler/thermoplastic intake void. That we dont see that happening must lay testimony to the dwindling user base. Or, perhaps, we need to give the process more time. Maybe we ought to start a poll trying to establish numbers of users who would happily switch allegiance to an alternate resource who wouldnt be such a nightmare to deal with for the parts which, heretofore, weve had to source from RMS.

Nah...poor guy probably gets paid like $8 an hour by Osh...or Osh is doing one of those, "If I pay you under the table, you won't pay taxes and actually net more money!" scheme so that after a month of welding Osh just doesn't pay him like a guy did to me when I was 15. So I feel sorry for that guy and he doesn't have to go in "THE GATOR PIT"

:lol you're too kind man....

That same ebay seller offered a RMS aftercooler kit for $1600. Not so sure though. Sounds a little to good to be true

My name is Alex and I am in the US Army. I have just ordered a Stage 2 kit from Osh. He gave me a very good millitary discount, and that means alot to me. I ordered it earlier this week and it should be ready by the middle of next week. I have been bulding FI BMWs for about 12 years, so will report on quality, completeness, drivability and delivery date. So far he has been very professional and prompt.

If delivery is not as promised it will be a problem because as you guys know the Army doesn't keep you in one place very long now a days.

I am friends with several people in this forum, incuding Nick G so I am not just blowing hot air.

I will keep everyone posted, and I beleive it is going to work out very well.

I didnt know their stage 1 came with 40 lb injectors rated at 3.5 bar?! i didnt know it made 310 whp either, but hey, creative measuring techniques? or, must be that crisp clean SF air :D

Sorry to hear, good luck. Make sure that if you do get the hardware, that you use NickG's software.

Thank you. I will install the kit as shipped and drive down to see Nick and put it on the dyno. If it looks good, I will post it here and do nothing to it. If it is not good I will post it too and have Nick fix it, but I hope that is not the case.

I am very objective.

Its not only about the dyno.. These stage II kits tend to have driveability issues with part throttle use. Nick is aware of all the issues which have needed correction to get them driving properly.. Just dont get thrown at first if you run into those types of problems.. They are solveable.

Thanks for being objective. It will be great to read your outcome whether it be good or bad since usually if it is bad people tend to disappear...I hope that doesn't happen and you do report the outcome.

Hi Marco

Give us a call when/if you cool down.

Hello Crhis. I am so glad you are gonna keep an eye on this thread. Maybe you can explain me what the hell happened with my missing s/c pulley, pulley hardware, Bosch BVP? You guys in the forum can track it for yourselves and you be the judges the item number is 23382833950 and you can track it on DHL. You know i ask for a 8 rib pulley kit and i pay you $450 for it. Let be honest, also you oferred the BVP and never send it with the aftercooler kit wich i pay you $1450. Not to mentioned this was paid in August. If you deliver my items(new ones, not used stuff you got sitting on your floor) I will post a reply and this will be a missunderstandig. What a way to call it !!! but hey I pay you, not Osh, so you clean your name. Not to mentioned that i went trough the whole Pay Pal dispute center and i still don't have what is mine. And don't even talk to me like you did to Marco;"when you cool down gives us a call" I don't need to call you, because i owe you nothing. You owe me so lets keep it like gentleman nd resolve this for once. You don't want me to start talking and i got all your messages saved, but i think that the DHL tracking number will be more than enough for the people in the forum. And Alex i don't think you should talk before receiving the merchandise, you may feel guilty later if someone reads your message and buy stuff from DMELA.

I wish that is all they would have forgotten over the years. :rolleyes Marco was RMS' last hope and probably one of the major reasons Osh was still around. At times i felt a sthough Marco was running the show, thats how much he stood by Osh's customers. Day and night headaches for such simplistic issues. It was only a matter of time before he would have enough and i for one do not blame him. seems the snake over at RMS outdid himself. He keeps burning bridges as well as customers. Osh's motto is not the customer first, but where to spend the customers money then worry about the PAYED products later.

For the love of God, someone please fill the Aftercooler void! I think Paul E. is on to something when he mentioned polling to gauge the potential customer base for such a thing. I reckon there's a lot of people, such as myself, who may not be as active with posting on the board, but would be very interested in this...

Ebay vendors are already selling basic -- not direct fit -- aftercoolers. I am sure they could be contacted and a sample sent and we would then have $500 -- or maybe less -- aftercoolers. The rest of the parts would be a few hundred more -- pump, fan, heat exchanger, hose, clamps, bypass valve. I use a $200 Ebay heat exchanger and a $50 Ebay fan and a Bosch pump that I got for $65 on Ebay.

RMS certainly has bad history and its history seems to repeat every now and then...

One thing that makes RMS's situation worst than other vendors/tuners on public forums is...how people freely express their negative feelings towards RMS. But for other tuners, most people would NOT take such route due to many different reasons. And I believe this is the reason why we see different camps on public forums, different people making cover for different tuners.

Too bad for RMS for not having such cover anywhere and it's the result from generating years of many unhappy customers. But let's not forget, there are many of you who have had bad experience with your tuner but you let 'em by because you think you are buddy buddy with them. While you stay in that buddy system, you generate many new unsuspecting customers who come to these forums to get free information and end up sharing the same fate of unpleasant experience. Not to worry though. Cause chances are, they will be in the same buddy buddy system. :rolleyes

Well stated..and very accurate..
I will elaborate..the reason people ( like me) get more vocal, is I have been protecting him for so long, and then to be betrayed and lied to repeatedly...gets old..I think I am so frustrated with RMS..everyone should know what they are getting in to..should they decide to use him..
