Damn Valet Ppl: Airbag Light Onnnn!!!! Nj Help

my car was valeted and next thing you know when i get the car back i noticed that the airbag light was on. what could have happened here? any solutions guyz? i definitely dont want to buy that reset tool right now, no money. could this jus be a coinkadink that the airbags should be checked i have 66,300 miles on my car? hmmmmm damn valet i knew suttin was gonna happen. if anyone in north jersey would like to let me borrow yur airbag reset tool thatll be awesome haha

Without the scan tool there is no way to know.
But it's odd that one person driving could throw a SRS code.
Do they park the cars real close and possibly climb in through the passenger window?

I thought there are only two common things that will cause a SRS to lite.
1) passenger seat mat 2) passenger seat belt latch

Could be a loose wire? You think they store the keys on the floor and someone accidently yanked a wire?

Does the light automatically turn off after 2 minutes? You may just need to have your SRS system reset

The rumor I read was that the wire for the mat sensor was too short and if too much weight was applied it could damage the wire. That's why I was wondering if someone might have stepped on the seat. All that weight in one place.

But you really need to pull the codes.
