Hey guys,

Looking for a source to possibly purchase a S50 B32 motor for my e36. How did all of you find your motors here in the U.S.?

I see Alex just posted a 48k mile MZ3 motor on the Yahoo Group list.

I never even got a chance to put the pair of them on my website.

I took a gamble, and brought two MZ3 packages over with very low miles, knowing they might be a tough sell as I paid a premium for them. One has gone to a club racer for insertion in what was a wonderful DM car...... and will now be a really fun CM car, and as of 5pm Chicago time, the other was spoken for by a west coast Race shop for one of their customers who runs a track only E36 DE car.

(I'm left with some very cool MZ3 euro cats and mufflers, but who on earth other than SC MZ3 customers who need to pass emissions with reliable factory cats and mufflers would want that? Talk about a small target audience!)

I will re-post to the yahoo list to make it more clear that I don't have that engine anymore.

No intent to tease, thanks for the props guys.

JK...

I KNOW there are low mileage ones out there, but you bass turds beat me to them! hehehehehehehehh

Actually, there is a 3.0 here with like 5K miles on it sitting gathering dust in chicago. Doubt its really for sale, but the owner has not done anything with it forever... plans long term to go racin..... has a shell... but not much happening. (if thats not the pot calling the kettle...nevermind)

18K, that belongs in a mueseum!

You guys need to get out and drive your cars. When I get one of these it will have 200k hard miles on it before you know it. :D

Do you know where these guys are located? And what do the 321 hp engines typically sell for?

I don't see any prices for the 321 hp engines. There is a 286 hp engine listed for $6k. Do you know where in Illinois? Chicago area would be a bonus.
