I have a small oil leak and it looks like it is coming from the round 140-160mm plate on the bottom of the oil pan. I looked on realoem.com and there is an O-ring gasket I can buy but does anyone know what I should torque those six bolts down to?

My torque wrench's gauge starts at 16Nm so I twisted it down a half turn (maybe 10-12Nm) and was easily able to tighten the bolts. Is it possible to over do it?

The bolts attaching the circular plate to the oil pan are M6 so the tightening torque is 10 Nm.

If it is any help i had an oil leak but it was coming from the dipstick housing to oil pan/sump 'o ring' interface.

Was a PTA to locate the leak as it always looked like it was coming from somewhere else.
