Would anyone have info on the pinout of the MSS50 DME? That should be in the TIS, but I don't have one.
I'm interested to know what pins are used for +12v, ground, K-Line, and Ignition
Thanks

I tried to delete the post above as I found the info I was looking for online after posting, but couldn't find it previously. I didn't see the option to completely delete the post. Here is a link to the info, maybe some of you already have it:

How did it go, Mark?
It didn't. :(
I used the connections as described in that link I posted.
+12v : ecu pin 26 and 54
Ground to ecu pin 9 (it doesn't appear like I need to connect to 6,15,34,28 and 55, but I may try it now that it didn't work yet)
K-Line : to ecu pin 88
Ignition: to ecu pin 56
I've sent an email decribing the problem to the designer of the flashing tool I use so hopefully he'll respond.

Euro people,
We really need to help Mark as much as we can as he - in my opinion - is the ONLY software tuner that will/might be able to offer us custom Siemens MSS50 software within North America.
It's in our best interest to do so. :help

Hi Benji,
I was just able to read an MSS50 DME that I tried reading last year with no luck! :redspot
It's in a car here in Toronto. Now it's just a matter of weeks before I load some new software in an s50b32. (the owner of this car may not want software)
I think the new software update for the programing tool fixed whatever problem they had with accessing the MSS50.
I'll bring my programming tools and map editor out to Vancouver and read/write your car in a few weeks.

link?
it's a software, I don't have a link.
I searched for the DME diagram but it seems that it isn't available for 3.0 or 3.2 .
If it will help you, I can post the pinout diagram for other similar dme's

Update: a few days ago I had success reading and writing an MSS50 and MSS50.1 DME on my workbench, with a special harness I made.
