Just wanted to share... I got a killer deal on some 17" TSWs with 235/45ZR Yoko AVS rubber today. The wheels were recently refinished in BMW Cirrus Grey with several coats of clear, and I think the color looks great with the hellrot. Couldn't wait to get them bolted on the car, and I'm pretty happy with the results! All I need now is a set of H&Rs and some Bilsteins!

Ummm... $400. I was pretty okay with that price, especially considering the tires have very few miles on them.
Just got back from the test drive. Completely changed the steering/handling characteristics, but for the better. I couldn't detect any shimmy/vibration etc either at low or highway speeds, although the rubber's kinda loud. Guess I just need to get my stereo fixed!

Wheels look awesome, congrats.
I swap my 16s with some M3 Contours...very little difference in appearance. If I were to do it again, I'd go for 18s. The responsive has also been slightly dimished now that I have driven the car for nearly 3 months. I'm still not sure what the best combo is. Maybe 18s will slow the car down enough that the best compromise is 17s?
I'm more into performance now then show. Might be putting the 16s back on the car down the road.
