how many speakrs in e36?

well i searched "number of speakrs", but didnt find anything useful.
i read an article somewhere basic pacake had 8 and standards had 10.


all i can find it 2 in door, 2 tweetrs and 2 in back. am i missing anything?

its a 92 325i.

i have a 318 and i only have 2 in the door by your feet... 2 tweeters in doors... n two in the back

There were two different sound system options on this car. The first was a "basic" system that had 8 speakers and no amplifier. This was most common on the 318i, and only on the 318i. There was also a "standard" system that had 10 speakers and an amplifier. Both systems used the same head unit.

Hi, i have ten speakers.
Two in front doors, one near the feet, at left and right sides, and four at the back.

The HK package technically has 10 speakers, six in the front, and two 6x9's in the back, each with their own tweeter.

2 in each of the front doors, one in each kick panel, and 4 in the back (I think its like 2 4" mids and 2 1" tweeters).

The 6x9's in the back of the Harman/Kardon don't have tweeters, they are 2.5" midranges. Which are also on the door panels. I'm replacing all 10 of my speakers with BSW.
