I want to know how much a set of E36 springs weight... Stock or aftermarket, I don't think there's a big difference.
I guess someone of you who already shipped a set would know :)
Thanks,
-David

It really depends on the size of the spring, and the spring rate. Obviously at 7" 300# is going to weigh a lot less than a 7" 700#.
I have some 4" 600# ERS coils sitting around that probably weigh a couple pounds. I'm running 8" 300# coils on the front right now that weigh about 5lbs, and then my 10" 700# rears are heavy as hell. Probably 8-10lbs.
The H&R Springs from the BTS kit are a lot lighter (lb/size) than ERS springs for my coilovers. I'd say the front springs weigh about the same both front and back. Maybe, 5lbs a piece.
I've never weighed them. I'm just going off of memory. Hope that helps some.

I know coilover springs may weight a lot different but for stock dampers, I don't think there's a big difference.
So I guess it's 5lb a piece, isn't it?
