It looks like a bad month. First the diff then this!!! Agggggggh.
I was fitting the four new Allen screws to my Vanos solonoid cover that I have been waiting for months for, and I noticed a faint line of coolant on the coolant pipes to the radiator.
Sure enough the inside of the pulley has a coolant stain.
Does anyone know of a cheap source for an M3 water pump in UK or anywhere?
It would appear that the Euro S50B30 water pump is completely different to any other, although the B32 looks the same but has a different part number on Real OEM.
I can visualise A$500 in Australia just for the part.

Disregard my last post. It looks like Pelican Parts have them.
While their catalogue did not list the Euro water pump, when I typed in the part number , they have it on special order for USD 251

So I will check the local price tomorrow in the extremely unlikely event that it is cheaper, and then most probably order from Pelican..
I have to say that they are the best internet company I have ever dealt with.
