Looks to me like there's one below the description. He does mention that it's from a car that's being parted out.

im sure its legit.. maybe hes doing a Hartge H50 conversion.. and has no use for the motor.. if bmw didnt extend my motor warranty to 6 years/100K miles.. i would buy this..

he stated that he bought the car as a salvage to part it out.
THIS CAR WAS PURCHASED FROM THE INSURANCE COMPANY AND I CHOSE TO PART IT OUT..
that photo he's using can't be his.
not saying it's not true but you'd figure he'd show you the actual motor sitting on a pallet or something. you know, to make the sale more credible.

the electronics would be a bitch with this motor. I have heard that would be the main problem.

yeah, I guess there isn't an "obd-1" converision for this motor yet. ;)
it's possible to wire up an M5 motor to the E46, so I'm guess you'd have to dummy up alot of the sensors going to the computer and you'd obviously have to have the proper computer in the car.

They're on back order and cost 8k. But you will get a real motor from these guys. 321bHP and an easy drop into the E36.
