Please let me know...Thanks
actually, I did the rear before...
it doesn't work too well in long term...you need thicker paint (like
folia one), not spray paint. When I sprayed it on the calipers, the
paint didn't grab the surface and drip on the rotor...My old caliper
paint ended up chipping and turn darker..

I bought my Foliatec off of eBay. Was a few dollars cheaper than anyplace else at the time. I still haven't gotten around to doing my calipers, though. I have SS brake lines to do at the same time. Maybe when it's warmer out...
EDIT: Try these (note that not all are actual Foliatec):

I just wanted to point out that you have ACS pedals listed twice in your sig. If you have an extra set for sale let me know :D;)

Yeah, I'm an idiot. Edited that out, thanks. Sorry, I only have one set. :D
Hmm... yea, I was planning on doing this too. But that foliatec stuff is pretty expensive for just paint.
C///M what color did you get?

Ok, so nobody found that funny. That's what I get for getting too little sleep.
Seriously, though, I got red.
I don't think I could deal with tennis-ball colored calipers ;)
my fingers are caught in between the caliper...
so I pulled it out with all my strength....just a little bit of blood :D

VB, i notice in your sig you mention two types of wheels, i have always loved the BBS rk's and was wondering if you plan on replacing them any time soon.... get back to me if this is the case.
thank you
Ben
this one is RC ;)
some of them have ugly curb scratch and the bright paint fade.
so I may consider sell them, after I found the right powder coating

I actually just ordered the paint TireRack sells last Thursday. I am gonna put it on next weekend. I will probably do a tut on it as well so I will post that.
OH, and I ordered Lavender. I thought it would contrast well with my black car.

v.b. post some pics when your done.
I'm thinking about painting mine when I put the BBS RKs I have sitting in my garage. I'm afraid that if not done right, it may look like some high school kids ricer ride.
Thanks.

I used high temp engine paint as well. Turned out well, but you have to keep them clean or else they start turning black again :az:
:dunno I have no idea how to clean the brake dust off the calipers.
I bought a can of brake cleaner...I followed the instruction, but
not working at all...okay, so I sprayed the paint on the calipers.
one layer and then the other, not sure if it is the chemical reaction
with the dust or not. The paint does not grab on the calipers.
I have to wait for the first thin layer dries before the second layer.
I only have one jack, so I am just done the front...
I will show some pic....

Very nice!
But it looks like you left a finger or two stuck in there. That's going to smell pretty badly once the rotors heat up and the flesh starts to burn. :D
