Does anyone know what the difference is between a 1994 m technic and a 325is. I recently purchased the car. I have already done a whole suspension overhaul, because it needed it real bad.All the parts for the suspension were identical to a 325is.The car has is Alpine white with m3 mirrors, m3 front bumper,m3 rear bumper and 2 piece 17 inch bbs wrapped in 235/40/17 rubber. The interior came with m cloth seats,m cloth door panels and a shift knob with m stripes on it. The outside trim has the words M Technic.

i think you just have a 325is with a bunch of m-tech parts on it. the ///M3 didnt come out until 1995
The "1994 m technic" IS a 325is with the stuff you listed.

The car runs great it only had 62,000 original miles. The only problem it had was the spark plug seals were leaking so i had to get those replaced.I'm planning on changing the tranny oil, does anyone know what is recomended.

It is a rare car. They only came in white and other than cosmetics, they're pretty much a 325is. The interior and BMW Motorsport door handles are the coolest features and are extremely hard to find. The wheels are cool, but nothing special. Also the badges on your door moldings are no longer available, so guard them with your life. Congrats on your purchase, take really good care of it. If you don't mind telling us, how much did you steal it for?

yeah i would definitely keep the m-technic in pristine condition, and get another car. just finding a low mileage m-technic is rare, and so are the parts. nothing big about the m-technic in terms of engine. i would leave it bone stock.

the motor is a standard m50, but the suspension of a true m-tech is better than that of a 325is sport suspension, but inferior to that of the m3. PM Disco Technix he has one and is knowledgeable on the subject. Also, try putting your VIN into realOEM.com, to see if its really an M-tech or a very good imposter.
