OK, I was "building" a 328 sedan on bmwusa and they have lots of lease special info on the site, according to their calculator with $3,200 at pick-up to cover fees and $2,500 down payment the $32k+ 328 lease is under $400 a month, somewhere in the $350 range.
If the 135i, standard with sport package, is going to run about $32k is it likely that the lease rate on it would be close to the 328?

Funny thing, I sent an e-mail to a sales guy at the dealership and in his reply the words "deposit" and "high demand" were in the first sentence.

it all depends, the lease rates are affected by the money factor, residual, and the BMWFS rate for that month, so it's really hard to tell

When the 135i first comes out it might have a market adjustment. Meaning $2-3k more then MSRP sticker. Every brand does it. When the new Mustang came out I saw many that were $3k over sticker. I think the 135i loaded will be more like $35k. Thats what BMW always does.

How can you compare a 328i sedan with the 08 135i. Totally diff car.

Just curious why you would want a decent size 4 door, and consider a small 2 door. I am considering the new 135i because I don't need room. I was really wanting a 335i coupe, manual, leather, sport pkg. thats all. BUT the 135i will cost $10k less and have every option. Still as fast as the 335i. I thought the 135i would weigh alot less then the 335i manual, but it doesn't. I think its only 125-150# lighter??? Don't get it.
