So I've pretty much limited me newfound front end squeek over bumps to my brand new swaybar end links, hardware, and bracket. The struts are Bilstein sports and new, so that's not the cause. And my strut mounts are new as well. Also of note, my Control arms/bushings and tie rods are newer.

It was impossible to measure the torque applied when tightening the lower bolt and nut and the upper nut, so I just cranked them down.

I'm thinking they squeek from 1 of 2 things.

1) I think since I installed them with the wheels removed, and the car on jack stands, that I may have added a pre-load especially when I lowered the car to the ground, I have heard that any front swaybar work should be done either on a lift with the wheels touching the lift itself, or on ramps so the bars/links don't get pre loaded when lowering the car down. Thoughts?

2) I need to somehow grease the swaybar end link ball joints?? Thoughts?

I heard the sways are okay as long as you don't put them on while one wheel is on the ground.
One thing I noticed and wasn't sure about when I did mine was the bearings in the front strut mount were dry. So I packed them, figured it wouldn't hurt. I wasn't sure cause I never ran across a DIY or published procedure saying they needed to be greased.
I also covered my swaybar bushings in lithium grease. I beleive the 101 project book states to do this, but I read a thread and a article that exclaims not to (they say it might make them swell and squeek).
I had squeeks and noises (including a rubbing dustshield that I had to bend back) but everything settled in about 15 miles (5 hard). No squeeks. Just seems a little darty with high speed lane changes.
