hi,
took my car to a local suspension shop cos needed to have my shocks replaced. it currently got a 40mm drop on it but with standard shocks so i thought might as well put the shortened shocks. the guy in da shop said i can put m3 standard shocks on my 328 cos it shorter than my standard 328 shocks. is this 4 real, is it really shorter and would it fit correctly.

The front suspension setup is different on the m3 than the 328. The mounting location of the sway bar is what is different. I would go with aftermarket shocks and struts if youre replacing both the shocks and struts.

Springs are different diameter as well. To do it right, you need M3 struts, springs, spring perches, swaybar, and sway bar end links.
