Anyone T the oil pressure sender hole by the distributor for a turbo oil feed? Or does everyone just drill and tap the filter housing? Im a little lazy to run out to my car right now in the dark and look to see if theres room, but it seems it would be a lot easier, no drilling, and its pretty close to a top mount turbo.

the oil pressure switch location is probably the easiest.

Most guys tap the filter housing.

Most guys tap the filter housing.

I know it, thats why i was wondering if there was a downfall to using the pressure switch location. Im not taking the engine out of the car yet, so id rather just T that location rather than remove the filter housing, drill, tap, re-install ya know

I don't think there would be anything wrong with waht you're planning. Before I saw m10 guys tapping into the oil filter housing, I saw alot of other setups on cars that used the Oil sensor hole. How far are you on your setup? I've barely started mine :(

if there is an oil pressure switch on the head use that ......it's the best location.....thats what I use....

Im not that far on mine, just got my megasquirt stuff, soon as thats installed ill start on the turbo. Ive had a few mk1 volkswagens ive turbo'd, and those are easy there is a plugged hole in the housing already(housing is right on the front of the motor) nice and easy.
