hey the other day my coolent cap was like hissing and bubbling and was sortof steaming too. and now 2 days after my temp gauge s moving back and forth between a quarter andhalf way.
Do you guys know if this is because of a bad cap?:dunno

If you hear steaming and bubbling comming from the coolant tank, it is the cap. They usually go bad after a while, so you should go ahead and replace it. Do you know if your expansion tank is original? I had a problem with the expansion tank lip being deformed. Get a new cap first, and see if it fixes it, and if it doesn't, then you probably need a new expansion tank.
