k, folks,

well, i am working on getting a GB that combines VIS cf hooods and FI cf hoods.

as many of y'all know, VIS hoods have a fiberglass skeleton with a cf overlay. FI hoods are considered second to none. they are full cf.

i do not have details on final pricing yet. i have been told that if there are enough folks interested, VIS hoods will run around 500-550 shipped.

FI hoods retail for 850-1000 depending on application, as i am told.

i was told that i would have finalized details by the end of the week.

just reply post here; however, it would be better for you to email me though so i can add you to my growing "interested"/"in" list.

thanks.

take care,

well, i did not see that VIS hood GB was posted.

so we would just go with the FIBER IMAGES hoods for the 3 series :)

let me know what you think.

Fiber images is 100% CF that includes the frame, you have options of kevlar and or colors, plus the choice of automotive clear coat. Its like an all you can eat CF buffet just choose what you want

i have seen FI hoods on several rides including the E46 M3 and the A4 and S4. it just looks sooo nice. i am not going to go so far as to say you would want to go over to the car and kiss the hood.... heh heh

some folks say hoodpins are not needed, but um, cf hoods do have the risk of flying off. i would get them for the FI hood since it is hella light. and no, i am not from cali. :P

Howitt -

you know, you never ever answer any of my emails. I've been specifically asking you about a titanium silver CF hood like the fiber images one, do you remember? You were supposed to get back to me with a price.... so, someone give me a price -- please.

I know that some other fools here in KC are looking for good CF hoods too. Ill let them know about this post. Work on getting some prices up please. And can you get pics of the colors available from FI?
