I figured you guys would know best..

I need a slight bend at the end of my intake pipe after the 3.5" HFM before the filter... With the bimmerworld sillicone boot, there isn't enough play in the intake bellow to move it off to the side of the radiator as before. Know anyone online that sells these? I can only find 3" or 4" locally...

edit: I see samco makes the 45 and 90 bends but.... $70+. Already forked over the $100 for the intake boot. grr

YOu could source a 45 degree silicone elbow for less, if you want, and run it from the hfm to the filter.

Treadstone Performance (http://treadstoneperformance.com/product.phtml?p=243&cat_key=10&prodname=Silicone+45+Degree+Bends), $30.00, make sure to order the color you want. I have some of their 2.5/3" hump connectors and a 90, they are great.

There are Hughes Supply Branches all over your area. I would think a water & Sewer branch could get you squared away very easily. You're looking for some kind of 'fernco' coupler.

Just got back in town, thanks for all the help and replies; I'm sure I will find something on those sites.

Looks like http://treadstoneperformance.com/ is rather local (Miami), ~$30... Nice stuff, but silliconeintakes.com is $19.99! Rock on, thanks guys...

Well, for it to even fit length wise w/ a bend, or even without a bend, I had to cut the sillicone boot back a couple inches. I guess I didn't really notice at first how much longer it was than the stock boot.

So for right now I have the bimmerworld boot, straight to the 3.5" HFM, and the filter directly on it. It's a rather large K&N so its still tight and still goes straight to the radiator neck; not good for heat, so now that the length is cut down I can order a bend to bring it behind the headlight.
