Is it possible to have 2 intake cams in the motor ?
and how do you distinguish between the intake and exhaust cam ?
any markings per se

There should be markings on the square ends of the cams (towards the firewall). I believe one of them has 2 dots and the other one has 1 dot.

No, not possible. Intake cam will have a threaded hole in it for the vanos gear. Also, intake cam has 3 bolt holes for the sprocket, exhaust has 4.

I sold a set to a board member and I got a call today that they were both intake cams . After the call I called my mechanic and told him that the buyers mechanic said these are two intake cams , my mechanic said that's impossible when they just came out of my m50 2.5l motor . I told the buyer to send some pics so that's were we are with things .

Too funny.
I think the buyer should find a new mechanic.
Post the pics when you get them.
