For the mechanics, anyone know how many book hrs of labor it costs to replace a clutch bearing.. or if someones had it done by a shop, how much they charged?

Clutch bearing as in throw-out bearing? I'm 99% sure you'll get booked the same as a clutch job. If you are talking about a TOB, you should just as well replace the clutch because it all has to come out and apart anyway..

throw-out bearing. clutch on car is supposedly new but it sounds like the bearing is going. How many book hrs or what would be average cost, just to get an idea? even just saying I was replacing the clutch, what am i lookin at labor wise?

What makes you think it is the TOB or even a bearing?
You didn't describe your symptoms.

the noise is coming from the transmission when the clutch is depressed. I have a mechanic buddy that is willing to do the replacement and I'm just trying to decide what a fair amount of $ would be to give him. thats why i'm trying to figure out book hrs

I was quoted $800 for a clutch job parts and labor. I did it myself and it wasn't that bad.

i dont know what clutch i should get, my dad officially killed my clutch. sometimes on start up it would turn, but then sound like it wouldnt catch the clutch and shutoff and i would hear a clickin sound from the tranny. my car is whistling now too, i think its the rear main seal :(.
what parts should i look to replacing, im thinking throw out bearing, guibo, slave cylinder, flywheel??, rear main seal .. cant really think right now.. im so blown
