Moving to a golf course community, have to make room for a golf cart in the garage, have to sell one of my cars (the other is a 540i/6). Would love to see it driven away by an Enthusiast. Very hard decision but decided to sell the one with the fewest issues both for clear conscience’s sake as well as ease of sale. It is a beautiful example of how a later model e38 can look far younger than its 12 years.
Purchased in July of 2004, originally a Texas car, purchased it with only 47K miles. No accidents, no smokers.
Interior is in excellent condition. Carpet is in very good shape, have used winter mats since purchasing it, which are included. All leather is very good to excellent condition. All interior lights work fine. CD Player / Radio works. Mats are in very good condition.
All electrical works. Warning codes for the tail lights because I have never had the electrical recoded after installing the clear tails.
Exterior is also in very good condition. The Mojave Braun color is rare and beautiful. I didn’t like it when I first got it but based on the looks and comments it receives now, I have learned to really appreciate it. Paint is very good. Upgrades include chrome grill, clear tails, sides, and corners. Headlight bulbs are the PIAA type housed inside Chromelined headlights. While I like that look, next move I would do if I kept it would be the Umnitza Xenon upgrades. Wheels are 18” Staggered M Parallel replicas, purchased May of 2006. Tires are Kumho Ecsta ASX All Season with about 10,000 miles. Snow tires are included with Miglia 1000 wheels w/ Blizzaks LN in good condition. Light tint all around.
Mechanically in very good condition. Synthetic oil since owned, replaced about every 10K miles. K & N filter. Brakes, steering, suspension all good. No leaks. Gas mileage surprisingly good - 22 hwy, 16 city. Mostly all the miles I have put on this car since owning it are highway.
Car is in Chicago burbs.
