Welcome to Bimmerforums.
If you are an individual "Member":
Of course we would prefer you try to arraign your group purchase through one of our Supporting Vendors (http://www.bimmerforums.com/vendors.php) here for items that they carry and can provide in a reasonable amount of time. Shopping our Supporting Vendors is what keeps this board "Free" and allows us to make necessary upgrades that ultimately benefit *all* members. However, you are not prohibited from arraigning group purchases with non-supporting vendors, as long as you are not an agent for said non-supporting vendor or reap gains from the sales, other than the discounts that are available to all of the group purchase participants.
If you are a Non-Supporting Vendor:
We ask that you do not initiate group purchases here and refer you to our Rules of the Road (http://www.bimmerforums.com/rules.php) where you will find the following excerpt.
NON-SUPPORTING VENDORS
Non-supporting vendors are welcome to participate on the bimmerforums.com message board and use its many features with full privileges. However, we must ask that all non-supporting vendors (including agents, dealers, staff, etc.) not advertise or promote any companies, products or services in any way. The use of text, logos, images, links or any other means to advertise, promote or obtain potential business while participating on the message board will not be allowed. This includes, but is not limited to, all messages, profile signatures or any other communicative features available on bimmerforums.com. A list of our "supporting" vendors is available for viewing from the main page under "Vendors". (For contact information and advertising rates, please send an email to advertise@bimmerforums.com.)
Thank you for your membership. Please PM or email one of the Administrators or me if you have any additional questions about this.
