Has anyone managed to buy one of these tools in UK or Europe?
All the US sources say no longer available or do not list it.
I have googled for days with no result.
If anyone has a spare I would like to buy it.LOL

Ok - I found this part number listed in my supplier's catalog as an S50 Depressing Lever.

I've got a request into them to check on stock availability.

I bags the first one.
They are listed in the BMW bootleg TIS I have from 2003. On Google I found a site which shows a cross reference to "replaced by X2/Y2" but I cannot get into the site Alltools as it seems to be a BMW Ag site for dealers.

I have several requests into my supplier, who has been 'working on it' for a while now (clearly).

I just sent another note. I will call them on Monday if I don't hear back from them.

Ok - here's (not much of) an update...

My supplier no longer has this tool available. They also checked with BMWNA, who no longer have the tool available as a part number.

I have asked my contact at BMWNA to see if the part is available by importing it from BMW AG. He's looking into it with their logistics department.

There is one more potential source that I'm waiting for proper contact info for.

So, while it's not looking good for a US Domestic source, I haven't given up yet. Sorry I don't have better news at this time.

I'll keep everyone posted here.
