m3 engine in a 323 ???

yeh sm here i got 328i e46 and i want to put the S54 engine...... the engine fits in but the DME/ECU problem keep coming up.... im trying to find a place where they can program my ECU to M3 program..... all u need is the ECU to work with the engine and the car

the e36 one is easier if you're doing an S52 swap. You'll need the M3 computer. I think all the sensors are the same as with the motor you have now. You'll benefit to switching to an m3 exhaust system. You'll also need a clutch slave cylinder and m3 clutch/flywhee/pressure plate I beleive (assuming manual).

The S54 is more difficult but it has been done before. Might want to check on the track forum as a few guys are running S54's in their race cars.
