Subframe Bushing Install Questions

The search function has garnered me no real answers.

Questions:

1. What tool do I need for extraction and pressing of the oe subframe bushings? Where can I rent this tool?

2. I have access to a lift...can I insert the bushings without taking the subframe out? If not, I have access to a hydraulic press, so I could probably press them in that way...right?

Who has done this install? Any helpful hints?

There is a special tool to change the bushings without removing the subframe but it is expensive. Most people remove the subframe, burn out the old bushings with a torch and press the new once in on a hydraulic press or you can hammer them in with a rubber mallet.
