Try looking at the classifieds (forum and newspaper), craigslist, autotrader, and EBay.

looked for two years and was way too picky! A buddy had a buissness partner who's step dad was selling his one owner dealer serviced m3 but wouldn't put it in the paper because he loved the car. It basicaly fell in my lap. If you can wait, let everyone you that you know (and their parents ect..) that you are looking. Auto trader always has many to choose from so that could be a good source. One owner cars usualy are older guys and good buys, but don't be afraid of 2 owner cars as long as the service history is well documented.

Word of mouth is fantastic for looking for things, also, this board itself is a great way to find most any BMW's.
