Hi guys! I have a 1997 M3 4 door automatic. I want to do a 5 spd conversion. I have a guy selling a 1995 m3 transmission 5 speed,drive shaft,clutch peg etc. complete.
Would this fit my 97 4 door?
What parts do I need to do a conversion?
Thanks in advance.

Yes, it will all bolt up. You will of course need the pedals and clutch master cylinder. There are a couple of small wiring changes that need to be made so the car will crank over, but other than those it's a pretty straight forward swap. If your M3 is clean underneath and the bolts aren't rusty, it will be much easier. I've done a few of these swaps and they take me about 2 days (Saturday and part of Sunday).
Good luck!
