can't say any are the best. They all suit different needs and offer different options.
My vote, any but tein. I've had the other 3 and they all work great.

Yeah tell me about it. I am just in the process of getting rid of TEINs. It's poorly designed garbage.
I am mostly interested for street setup with maybe light track use.

I like my KW coilovers... but if I ever upgrade I'll be going with either TCKline DAs or possibly vorshlag's new coilovers.

did you ever have SA's? I was talking to someone here that tracks his car and has had both. he said he actually preferred the SAs to an extent because all he would do was turn the stiffness up and go around the track rather than spend a lot of time messing with rebound settings and stuff on the DA's. I guess I just want to hear your thoughts on that.

:confused Why? Mine Tein SS's are one of my favorite mods.

sounds like someone who doesn't know how to tune a DA shock. Buying DA's won't make the car faster if you don't when/which knob to turn and what the outcome will be.

I had my honeymoon period as well, until i saw damaged rear spring perch and one spring itself deformed (compressed). Metal rings that go on top of the perch are also deformed. I have 12 drag races and no track events with 10k on the them. This should not happen.
Other people have had problems with fronts - the sway bar link mount that holds sway bar link bolt and brake lines on strut housing would crack and eventually brake off.
I have TEIN basic, but it appears the problems surfaced on SS model as well.

no its not that, it just seemed to me that he made it out to be kind of a pain to find the right balance for the track and then switch it back when he got to the street.

I've had mine for over 2 years, countless drag events; no issues. Honeymoon period is over, maybe it was install error?

I thought that was it (even made a thread about it...search my topics) but later found they were installed just fine. Possibly a bad batch, I don't know and don't plan on finding out again by buying another set.

TCK FTW. I made my selection for a car that would be my daily and see over 15-20k a year on the street with the occasional autox and drag night. Feel better than worn out stock struts when set soft and arent bad on the street set stiff. My two choices were between TCK and GC but have since been glade to have spent the extra 200 on the TCK because of great constumer support. Great guys to deal with.
