TICKING? Valves? Lifters?

I just finished fixing my overheating problem this week and my car is still making that ticking sound. it sounds exactly like Stucks Video. I would like to know how can I tell if it is the valve or the lifters?
How much labor hours do mechanics usually charger for either job?
what can go wrong if I drive on the car like this for an extended period of time?

Also, the noise appears to go away when the car is above 3K.

Sounds just like what I had, Avus too haha.
But for me it was the lifters, and valves.
Got estimates 3K+ so Im just waiting a
little bit longer to save up money for
a built engine.
