I just received the boxes and the wiring. It took me a LOOOONGGGG time to get it right the first time. I'm pretty challenged when it comes to electrical work - I JUST DON'T LIKE IT.
Someone want to lend me a hand?
Beer's on me!

Russ -
Pm/email Cabby. I know he's done this procedure on his E46 M3. How was installation of the light boxes? Fairly straightforward???
BTW- you still need to take a ride to determine what you like, my current setting is around stage II for RMS. I would seriously consider taking advantage of AA's deal. You could always prepay now and bring the car down there later.
Plus - I still owe you for that PS2 bruddah (I don't forget my debts my friend)....so, let me know what you would like since the bra and other things didn't work out that well for you. If you need something for your car, let me know, I probably can get it at a decent price (e.g., wholesale) for you. Or, if you like, I'll pay for your next 2 oil changes, I'll pay for a part you need, etc.
Let me know what you think is fair.

James - I was thinking about the AA route. I would take a week off and either drive/ship the car down there.
The price is very attractive. Plus, the intercooler is a nice addition ( I don't think the Dinan one has it).
I only did the GEN IV lightbox installation. I had some minor issues that turned out to be major issues for me (i'm an electrical idiot). If I had to do it again i'm sure it would be much smoother.
Are you still planning on SCing your green one?
I'm trying to see if I can make it up to Summit Point this weekend to meet with Sunir - trying to get a ride around the track with him.
If not, you know of any drives happening?

I believe this weekend snow might occur, or a freezing mix, or something like that. So, it might not be a good time.
Hmmmm.....you would drive down there?? Pretty long drive ehh?? I believe like 21 some hours??? I think for 310+ rwhp on a mustang dyno + intercooler, + having Karl and them work on it, it's a great price. You get installation free, which would cost you at least another $2-3K: at least.
The intercooler is a great idea; I'm sure they will even come out with pulley upgrades for more power in the future. You don't need forged internals for the amount of boost you would run. So, don't worry about engine rebuilds. Just make sure your compression and leak tests are good before you go down there.
I doubt I will s/c the green one now. The economy is just to shitty to be spending money. I'm getting hammered in my 401K, some of our work's clients are laying off massive people, I mean, if we goto war, I think this economy will truly sink into the cellar: gas is getting up there in price, etc...I'm thinking about selling all but the silver car to try to relieve my debt load a bit .... I'm supposed to close on a place the end of this year (being built now); so, I may try to just keep expenses down minimally.
I'll be doing alot of driving events with team BAR (broke ass racers? or ricers?, whatever Jed, Andy, and them call it). You should join us. I want to become a better driver. Let me know if you need a new set of tires, I'll be ordering mine soon (I get a discount on those as well).
Let me know what you need -- I still owe you!!!

James - Yep. I'm getting hit on my Simple IRA. But, this is when you buy more right?!?! LOL. I'm just going to let mine sit and pray it will turn around. I think we're going through a major correction right now. Things should look up soon.
As for the drive to Florida - that's nothing. I can go for days - LOL. I drove across the country when I graduated college and loved every second of it. Averaged 15 - 20 hours seat time a day.
Anyways - team BAR huh? I wouldn't mind getting in on that. Let me know the details.
So, how did that go-cart racing go? How about hitting that up this weekend?

Doh! The bra! Hey, you want that back? Maybe you can return it or something. Don't worry about the owing part. It's all good. Maybe you can hook me up with some good deals down the road.
I may take you up on some discount stuff in the future. Don't know what I want to do before the SC project. I'm definitely looking on getting rims/tires, some suspension work, and maybe brakes. I might do it before the SC, but probably after...

I still need to install my Gen II DDEs in my E46 325ci. I am scared to do it myself too. I want to do it as best as I can the first time.

Yeah, I actually have two sets of Jim Powell Angel Eyes. I really don't even want to install them but no one will buy them either. :(

DDE setup pics? You're talking about Daylight Demon Eyes, right? I didn't know your car had them. I just wanted to see how your handywork turned out.

The install went incredibly smooth!!! I am not at all electrically-inclined but I didn't run into any problems. I just watched the video a few times and went from there. Good Luck.
Post pics when you're done!!
