Hi All
I just picked up a '90 525i automatic.
I've been into tuning and engine swaps on hondas for a while now but i'm expecting a kid and needed something with 4 doors and an auto the wife could drive.
Ok, back to the e34. Its silver and has no rust or dents, 104k miles and came with all the maintenance records since new. It even came with the original window sticker!! I actually found out after buying it that it came equipped with the optional LSD, sweet.
Right now i'm planning on changing some gaskets to stop some minor leaks and replace everything in the cooling system just for insurance.
Anyways, i'll be around and i'll post up some pics when I get past probation!!

Nice find. 104k on a 90!!!! That is excellent. Sounds like you got a great car.
I think we are living parallel lives lol! I've been into hondas since I was 16. Had everything from a 87 CRX to an 02 RSX type S. Finally got out of the import scene and into the truck scene. Funny thing is that I bought the car for the wife to drive also, but I think I like it more than she does. Oh well...
Can't wait to see some pics.

Since this pic was taken ive done a full detail, cleaned all the dust off the rims, used a rubbing compound and applied a fresh coat of wax to the paint.

First mod = car seat
2nd mod - rear lighter
3rd mod = a 12v "refrigerator" for keeping bottles cold on outings.

Nice! Hows the interior?
These are the only pics i have right now. the seams are pulling apart in a few places, but i have a friend that does upholstery and she is going to stich it right up for me. It looks alot better now that its been conditioned with a lil armor all.

Armor all on the dash and all the vinyl trim peices. What do you guys use for a leather?
The car was sold in Quincy, MA (It came with the original window sticker and bill of sale ;)) and then was sold to a guy in Holliston. So yup, been in the boston area its whole life.
Clean for a 90!!!

McGuire's or Mother's. Both excellent, currently using McG's. How are your tails? Some Mother's aluminum polish does wonders...
BTW....I know Im not supposed to say this around here, but...vtecs are pretty nice! what are getting out of it?

Aluminum polish on the plastic taillights? :help
And for the VTEC, what am i getting out of it? I got a spun bearing, thats what i got :mad.
Last time on the dyno it put down 185 to the wheels @ 7800rpm. :evil2 14.5 in the 1/4 mile at NED in Epping NH. It was fun for a while, but i think its time to move on. .. .
my bad, polish on exhaust tails.

I think it has an aftermarket bosal exhaust, the dual tips are plain steel with slash cut ends. nothing to polish there!!
Car looks pretty clean. Nice
