So dose anyone know if you pay to be in the car show on Sat, can you then park on the lawn on Sunday as well ???

I think it is like 20 bucks or something....I know they charge you something to park on sunday...it doesn't break the bank though

Let me see if I'm following you... :)
So the 20 bucks for the car show parking on Sat dose not include Sunday parking ?

I believe it is 20 bucks for a parking pass for both days....not 100% though. I remember last year that it was 20 bucks to park on Sunday, but that was the only day that I went.

Sadly, I will be missing the festivities at Schenley Park this year (My Bachelor Party at Put-In-Bay!!), but I am definately going to Beaverun for a while this weekend. Anything going on today? I have some time today, but will be out there bright and early tomorrow morning. Going to Def Leppard/Styx concert tomorrow night! Got my 1983 Mr. Roboto tour T-shirt clean and ready! I was 9 at the time but I got a large so it still fits!

They'd probably be like "Yea, bullshit, have fun at the carshow, ass!"
Seriously though, I'd end up in the hospital. I'm taking some Cephalexin to hopefully ward off a staph infection before it gets too serious :(:(:(

I was there on Saturday, but didn't stop by the tent. I am not really into the whole "Exclusive Club" thing myself. I wasn't about to walk up and stand next to the ropes until someone would talk to me. I am not saying that you guys are snobs, just that it didn't give me the impression that non members were welcome (which I am sure is true otherwise why have a barrier around the tent/car display area.
Not quite the same thing, but I remember going to the Vintage Grand Prix about 10 years ago with my Mom and Dad. They have been LONG time Austin Healey owners and I think it was the year that the Healey was featured marquie. They were also Healey club members since the clubs inception, but when they went to enter the local Healey club tent at Schenley Park, the pretensious Bitches behind the table would not let them in, even gave them a disgusted look. I guess they didn't look the part or something. The funny thing is that my folks might have come from low income families but they were worth more than all of the rest of the Pittsburh Healey club combined. My Dad Bought his Austin Healey 3000MkIII off the showroom floor in London in 1966. It was featured in 3 magazines, yet not good enough for the Pittsburgh Healey Club.

I went up Sunday, but kinda felt the same way. I think it's because, a lot of the BMWCCA members in this area are older, which would lead to a slightly different mind set, kinda wanting an "exclusive setting" like that. There was also an advance sign-up for the tent, and a little bit of a fee to cover the catering. I got the same impression as you did though. I went to the tent, and looked for the few familiar people from the car club that I did know, didn't see them, and then dipped out.

wheels look sick drew. Can't wait to see her up close.
Unfortunately my car will not be in attendance for the GP. She broke down on the way to work today. I believe it is the dreaded oil pump nut issue. She is sitting down at Sewickley BMW right now, and they are booked up for the next 2 weeks...F
On the bright side, I can be a camera man for the next meet and cruise...
