Fusible Link

Hey guys, My e34 535's windows,wipers,central locking and interior lights quit working one day. I searched and found out about the fusible link. Mine seems to be in good shape. So I replaced all of the fuses under the rear seat. The #30 fuse which is a 7.5amp will blow the 7.5 every time but the 10amp will hold. Should I replace the fusible link anyway to see if there is a short some where?

i replaced my link and ll the fusses then the same problem went away and never had it again. i just used a stereo 60a fuse and holder. 15 b ucks i think. i sodered the wires to the fuse holder as an extra precation
