I have a bit of a suspension issue with the 1990 535i. When going over bumpy or uneven roads, it gives me a "darting" feeling that i have to overcorrect in order to keep the car on the road.
Hard to explain i guess, but it's driving me nuts. Front end is tight, i just replaced the thrust arms. These made the car tighter, but the problem is still there. Shocks are origional with 300k on them, and the rear end sits too low, so I plan on putting another set of stock springs in it with newer shocks and struts, but im not sure this will cure my problem.
I've also replaced the rear subframe bushings and the steering box with a used one. Brakes have been done all around, no sticky calipers or anything.
Any idea's?
