Sucks how 1 rotten apple will spoil the whole bunch. Cheaters/scammers/thieves are the lowest of the low on this earth.

Yea, but I'm kind of happy because what if I got my diffuser ($80) and then got scammed on $300 or something?
It sucks, but I'm not putting myself at risk anymore. Sometimes you pay extra not for product, but for service.

sorry about your misfortune with Jesse.:(
i don't think your assessment is fair, we as vendors also suffer greatly when a scam artist separates you from your hard earned $$$.
lumping Jesse with UUC is also not a fair assessment, although we are not perfect and cant possibly satisfy everyone, we never stop trying and we will go the extra mile to try and make it right, i think UUC has also proven that time and again and at the end the always come through, mind you you (for the most part) only hear the less then perfect stories on here.
Jesse--> scam artist.
UUC--> legitimate.
by boycotting the forum you may be a dis service to you too, you may be passing a great product and a great deal not to mention supporting this great site we all call home.
sometimes in the elusive hunt to save that extra $5, $10 or a few more bucks we put our selves in a vulnerable position and ignore all the obvious classic signs and warnings of a scammer, Jesse was the perfect example from the start.
buy from established and long time supporting vendors, you'll get a great product at a great price and 99.9% the best service anywhere.
don't write us all off because of one dirt bag, some of us do care about this place and most of all our customers and fellow members.

You really made me feel bad lol.
But seriously, like I just posted on the other thread in Vendor Comments, I don't blame UUC for being scammers, I was using UUC as an example of customer service problems (which I've read is a common problem). I'm not boycotting the group buys or supported vendors. To boycott is to stop in hopes of getting something stopped or closed down. And I don't want that. Instead of trying to convince me the error of my ways, maybe you should be working towards fixing what needs to be fixed. Usually in business, thats how you take care of your customers and keep customer complaint down. Instead of telling them that their wrong. I probably will buy from a group buy or supported vendor in the future. But when I do I will get more information from the vendor himself on him and the process. I apologize to the vendors who work hard and now feel under appreciated, but don't blame me blame the faults in how this works.

first let me clear something up, im not UUC nor am i affiliated with them in any way.
most vendors here do in fact work very hard and do the right thing 99.9% of the time, we are not perfect and we do make our share of mistakes but ripping you off of your money is a whole new level, don't confuse someone's less then stellar experience for what ever reason with getting nothing in return, big difference there.
i for one can tell you that i am never happy and learn and make changes to my operation on an almost daily basis so to not be lumped in the same breath as a known scum bag vendor who ran off with your money.
im not pointing the "errors of your way", i completely agree with you that there's no place for thieves here but all i ask as that you keep the honest hard working vendors in mind next time you need something, most will not disappoint.

I've had nothing but GREAT service when dealing with UUC, and I've dealt with them on numerous occasions. The one time there was a small issue (I got track pads instead of street pads) Rob personally took care of it IMMEDIATELY. I wish all the vendors would treat me with the same courtesy... but I won't mention any names here. Seriously, where else can you often times get a highly detailed response to your questions @ 2am?
Rob's the best! A+++++++ for UUC
BTW... I am not affiliated with them in any way...just a satisfied customer.

I would assume some vendors don't want the pain associated with some types of buyers...
I've had great service from uuc and a couple other supporting vendors...

I bought a cf 3-way spoiler from jessie, after payment was sent i had the product 4 days later at my house with all hardware... then a week later i heard about him not sending any products... Guess i just got very lucky. Sorry for your loss... When it comes down to it people are only out for themself's and its all about the $$$. If you paid with paypal you should not have any problems with getting your money back, I will not use anything else but paypal, to many bad times with eBay.

I was using UUC as an example of customer service problems (which I've read is a common problem).
Did you not read the part in your previous thread where I documented each and every "problem" you were referring to? All you have to do is actually read those threads to realize the "problems" are usually third-party issues dealing with shipping companies, installer issues, or basic miscommunication.
Instead, you are perpetuating the "I only read thread titles" problem with message boards, instead of understanding what is really going on.
Please have the courtesy to read the replies to the points you make... we read your posts, it's not too much to ask for the same in return.
