I'v heard that some HID conversion kits are DOT approved, and that some aren't. I wanna get the lavalighting 6000k phillips kit. Not sure if its DOT approved, but even if its not does anyone know if it will pass VA safety inspection. I know they have crap about adding lights to your car, but do REAL hid's fall under this as well?
