The parts car with the mystery 17" wheels came a tire I wasn't familiar with mounted on all four corners. Couldn't find much information about them online (in english).

Marshal Power Racer II - 215/45/17

I was wondering if anybody had any experience with this tire, especially on the autocross course. I'm thinking about using them on the next event, but if they're significantly worse than my 205/50/16 potenza SO3 pole positions, I won't bother.

Small tread blocks, high void area... they're squirm city and I doubt the sidewall's much better.

The sidewall is actually pretty stiff. I let the air out to 0psi and they still were bouncy. It was tough to tell if the air was actually out of them. I mean, they're definately not tires I would buy for the track, but compared to my other street tires, the Bridgestone potenza SO3 pole positions, which are also not that hardcore, they seem pretty nice.

I would say the S03's would be a FAR better tire for an auto-x, but I have no experience with the Marshal Power Racer II.
