Ok, i'm thinking about doing a euroswap to my car, but i'm curious where is there a trustworthy place in texas, more specifically Dallas to do it?
I don't know if anyone has ever heard of Autoscope, they do really amazing work, but I don't know if they do engine swaps.
Maybe SG_M3 could help me out since he lives near here?
Also, is 10-11k a normal avg for a swap install and all?

Off the top of my head....
Mike Perkins, not sure the name of his shop...
Ask GoBuff
Consider Jon Siccardi at TreeHouseRacing. Worth the drive, he's done a few.
I'm sure I'm missing something obvious, and by doing so, pissing off a friend or two, but thats what comes to mind from that state.

Perkins = Bavarian Machine
Honestly around here, not many places i'd trust to do the swap. Its not hard, but you will pay for it. Autoscope, 911, Eurosport, Matthews Auto(houston), Bavarian Machine(houston).

Yeah, I know...month old thread.
Eurosport has done one.
You do realize that if you are putting the motor into the car in your profile (98 M3) you will never get it passed emissions in Dallas right?
If you can get the car and motor to Tyler, I'd consider doing the work. But I probably would not be any cheaper than the places around Dallas and I would have to do it in my free time and would probably take a month to get it done.

I have done a few, but I am not in TX. I have done 3.2 and 3.0 swaps in EWS and non EWS cars. Too bad for the mileage separation. or I could help you out.

Sir,
If I may enlighten you for a moment.
Autoscope rips-off individuals like you every day they are doing business
(specifically the Plano location).
My advise to you is to steer very clear of Autoscope Ltd.
