well, the 20mm are thinner and the 40mm films are thicker. Remember, it is mils, not mm, so it isn't 40mms thick. For clear films, get the 40mm, for all the colored films, get 20mm.

Give Don a break. I have done business with him before and I would highly recommend doing business with him. He is a great guy and what is going on is not his fault but it is Lamin-x's fault. Lamin-x has been giving him delayed responses.

Realistically, most people should understand that coming into a GB, you save an X amount of money, but in return you have to wait a Y amount of time.

If you didn't want to wait the 4-6 weeks it has taken this GB to become finalized, to save that 25% (which in most cases were between $2.50 and $5.00), then it would have been perfectly fine if you just went through the site and ordered it there. Your order would have most likely been processed that day or the following day. I also don't know if you calculated it into your time span thing of this GB, but realistically you should have started with the day that the first person sent their payment in, until the day that the 15th person sent in their payment.

I dunno how many GBs you have done, but it is not as easy as it seems sometimes. Basically this is what I have to do to make this GB work:

I need to contact the supplier, ask him if they can give me permission to do a GB. Make various threads on my forums (bfc, e46, e90, m5, etc). Get a list of people interested. Answer everyone's questions (e-mails, PMs, posts, etc). Once I get the thumbs up from my supplier, I have the GB listing/coupon activated on my site. Help people navigate my site to find what they need. Take orders as they come in. Answer more questions. Tell my suppliers that out of the 30-40 people who signed up that I only have 16 people who paid, and ask if that is still ok, and some how work out a new agreement. Answer more questions. Etc.

What do I gain at the end? Maybe make a $1 dollar for each order that was placed (I am not even exagerating one bit). Why do I do it? To try and help out the members on this board, by trying to provide them with a cheaper than usual price.

I saw a lot of people who were talking about lamin-x on the main forums/boards, so I thought I could do something to help them out with.

How long does it take for the lamin-x to be "baked" onto the headlights so I don't see all the cloudiness and bubbles? Also, will I be able to take it off in the future?(there's a piece of hair underneath and it's bugging me :( )

Yea, you can take it off whenever. I've taken some off of my car 2 years later without any problems.

I recently put a new set on one of my cars recently and it has been 2 weeks, still cloudy, but it should eventually work itself all out.

don, they turned out to be sitting at the post office. I guess I never got a notice from the post office. I got the taillight lamin-x, but I got the wrong color/thickness for my headlights and fogs, and I did not receive the corners. I ordered tint for my headlights, 40 mm clear for my fogs, tint for my corners, and gunsmoke tails for an E36 M3 coupe. I got clear headlights (not sure if 20mm or 40mm), gunsmoke taillights, tint fogs, and did not receive the corners in the euro lighting package(http://lamin-x.com/ecommerce/os/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=447_32_281&products_id=148&osCsid=d37d0db788bae5efc95027c611cd682e)
