245/35/18 is going to be the best size for those wheels IMO.

If you get any rubbing, just work in the car to get rid of it (spacers for the front if they rub in the inside or fender rolling for the rear if they rub in the outside).

I put 225/40R18 on my 8.5's all around and the car looks amazing (I need a drop... coming soon). I don't think I can post pics yet or can I? It's not that stretched but it looks great, alot better than dinks running 245 or 255 on 8.5's. I will take a pic or two and see if I can post...

Holy crap 150kb what camera takes such crappy pictures anymore??? My camera setting on the poorest quality still exceeded it by DOUBLE!

Is there anyway to reduce the image size other than copy and paste into paint and adjusting the size with the pointer? It turns out blurry that way because I can't keep the proportions...

Sorry about my rant, here are the pictures sry if they are blurry, blame PAINT :stickoutt

Hope this helps you decide, I just love the way 225's look on an 8.5 :buttrock

I like 245s better... plus they are the right size and od for my e34.

I ran 225s on 7" rims...

drop your sidewall ratio and fit the biggest rubber you can while staying in the same od... that is the entire reason for upping rim width.

Not every tire has the same width, every manufacturer makes it a different size.

Says who? I wanted wider wheels but hate fat tires, the only reason I didn't go with 205's is because they didn't have them in stock that day... :rolleyes
Ever seen a 215 on a 10" rim? Most goreous thing I've ever seen

im being told 225or235/40/18 I have the same wheel size as you want to go but I'm unsure of the offset. I have 235/40/18 tires all the way around and I'm not as low as H&R race but no rubbing so far. Well once in awhile if I hit a dip really fast or hard but nothing major.
