I need a recommendation for a dyno near SD. I've been to Mechtech and Dynamic Autosports (? I think that was the name) in OC before but would rather have someone closer.

Not a fan of the DynoShop in Santee - ask jim powell about his experience there.

I've not heard good things about the dyno shop, either. Group 5, when it was owned by Ben Ma used to have a Dynojet but I'm not sure what happened to that shop.

Brett - Group5 still has the DynoJet. I think you have to make an appointment though. If I remember correctly, it is about $80 for 4 runs.

Thanks, Robert. I called them and their rates are $100/hour and it's by appt only.

the group5 shop turned into AEBS. they bought more garages but they are still located where the old group5 shop was. group5 has moved down the street and is watched over by troy.

JBA Racing over on Convoy has a dyno. Ask to speak with Bruce Tucker, Fred Galloway, or J. Bittle if he's aorund. You might try asking for the Ben Carufel Boy Scout discount...
