Whuuuuuuuuuuuring noise

Hi

i'm new to the forum, and my mini has a funny sort of whuring noise from the engine, when you rock the steering wheel the noise gets slightly louder.
Should they make this noise?
It's under warranty and want to get it sorted before it expires.
