Going with 17x9.5 all around, what tire size?

Im going with 17x9.5 ccw classics on my 95 m3. Dont worry, fenders have already been rolled. . . My question is, what size tire should I run? I was thinking of 255/40, but now im thinking of 265/35. . . What do you think would be the best size to run, and what would look the best?

255/40-17, the next largest would be 275/40-17, and that's too tall. Get 255/40-17 Advan AD07 Neovas. They have a very wide tread width for a 255 (more like a 265--see Vorshlag's website).

Do you know how much they are off the top of your head? Sorry im in a rush and dont have time to look it up.

Im probably going to have to insane camber to get them to fit so i dont want to drop more then 500 on tires if im just going to blow through them right away. . .

ADVAN's in 255's are going to run WAY more than $500. Honestly, if you're dead set on 255's, you won't get any great tires for >$500.

EDIT: The best I saw was around $550 shipped through Tirerack for Yokohama AVS ES100.

Are you going for looks or performance? ES100s aren't bad tires if you're not too worried about performance. Advan AD07s are probably the best street tires out there, but you'd be looking at around $1000 mounted.

What about kuhmo ecstas? They are pretty cheap and i heard they were decent.
