Probably should have done a search for this, but i needed the post counts anyway.........Has anyone checked out/uses currently Turtle Wax ICE? I used it in the fall on my wife's Explorer and my old Saab and it seemed pretty good. The explorer still has a nice shine to it. The saab's long since dead. My question is, should I invest in a traditional paste wax first, the use the ICE for monthly upkeep?
Cheers,
Jay

I'd check out the Detailing forum.
If you are looking for just an easy one step deal, check out Meguair's NXT.

Before I was interested in detailing, Meguiar's Gold Class had my car looking pretty clean after just a wash. Hid the swirls reasonably well, too. Now I use clay, then have at it with a Porter Cable w/3M Perfect-It Swirl Mark Remover, then a coat of Klasse AIO, then a coat or two (or three) of Klasse SG applied a week apart, then leave it for the next 5 months or so, putting S100 as a top coat on every time I feel like adding a bit of shine.

Ice is a synthetic wax. It works well when your car has been recently waxed. I usually detail the car once a month and wash once a week. dureing the weekly washings if i have time i do the Ice wax- its nice you can put it on any surface like plastic and glass and really bring out the shine- i see it more as an Armorall for paint then a wax. deff a good investment for the weekly upkeep.
